KIDMAN: `MY KIDS CALL ME NICOLE’
NICOLE KIDMAN has a bizarre relationship with her adopted children, and they don’t call her "mom".
The actress adopted 16 year old Isabella and 12 year old Connor with ex-husband Tom Cruise, but they spend most of their time with Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes.
And when they do spend time with Kidman, they address her by her first name.
The actress says, "My kids don’t call me mommy, they don’t even call me mom.
They call me Nicole, which I hate and tell them off for it." Kidman admits she and her husband Keith Urban are hoping to put less distance between them and her adopted son and daughter by househunting in Los Angeles.
She adds, "When children are teenagers, they have a say in where they want to be. Los Angeles is a big draw, and I’m looking to get a place there so we can share more."
