The Beowulf star feels he has had his moment in the spotlight and hopes his actress daughters, Lois, 25, and Jaime, 23, will have the same success.

If Winstone, 50, keeps his promise it means his next film - Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, due for release next year (08) - will be his last.

U.S. car buyers seeking a new Corvette should look under the bonnet - because Oscar winner ADRIEN BRODY has turned one new motor into a limited-edition special.
The Pianist star, an avid motor enthusiast, signed the inside of a new Corvette engine during a recent visit to a Detroit, Michigan car plant.
He reveals, "I have a Corvette and I got to go to the factory in Detroit where GM (General Motors) let me help build the engine with a technician.
"I signed it ‘Adrien’s Killer Vet’, and I drew a skull and crossbones in metallic marker. It was pretty exciting."

LATEST: ER star GORAN VISNJIC has agreed to pay $1,800 (£900)a-month in child support for the baby girl he doubted was his.
The married actor admitted impregnating fellow Croatian Mirela Rupic in 2006 after she sued Visnjic, insisting he was the father of her child.
Rupic claimed the actor, who plays Dr. Luka Kovac on ER, accepted little Lana Lourdes was his daughter and sent monthly $1,000 (£500) cheques to help the single mum.
But when the money stopped, the angry mother launched a legal campaign and went public with Visnjic’s lovechild.
At a hearing in Zagreb on Tuesday (27Nov07), Visnjic’s lawyer revealed his client had abandoned plans for a paternity test and now recognised the child as his own.
In return for his child support settlement, Visnjic has been granted once-a-month visitation rights with the infant.

Hollywood studios have offered striking writers a new contract - which would see them paid millions of dollars extra for Internet shows in a bid to end the current walkouts.
However, the Writers Guild of America - which has been striking since 5 November (07) - has asked for more time to consider whether to accept the offer and end the deadlock.
The offer, which has been dubbed the New Economic Partnership, includes payment for programmes which are shown on the web which would net workers an additional $130 million (£65,000) a year.
Union officials have demanded a recess in negotiations until Tuesday (04Dec07) to consider the proposals.
The news comes as TV talk-show host Conan O’Brien announced he will be paying 75 employees of his production team out of his own pocket while they remain at official picket lines.
Fellow TV personality David Letterman, announced shortly after the strike began that he would pay the salaries of staff members on Late Show With David Letterman and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson until the end of the year (07).
U.S. chat shows have been the programmes worst effected by the strikes but the walkouts have also threatened production on other TV favourites including Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate

MARIE OSMOND has created a series of new dancing dolls as a tribute to the time she spent on TV hit DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The singer and doll collector finished in the finals of the reality TV contest earlier this week (begs26Nov07) but came in third place.
She’s a big winner in the business dance, however, after using the show to inspire a new collection of dolls, dressed in some of the outfits she wore on the dancefloor.
The Paper Roses singer unveiled her new Boogie Woogie doll, Paso Doble doll and Quickstep doll on U.S. shopping channel QVC on Thursday night (29Nov07).
The first two models in the collection - the Samba doll and the Foxtrot doll - have already sold out after fans of Osmond were given the chance to buy them before the star went public with her new business venture.

Australian singer/actress DELTA GOODREM has dealt former WESTLIFE star BRIAN McFADDEN a harsh blow by refusing to marry him.
The Irish pop star proposed to his longtime girlfriend last week (23Nov07), according to the Sydney Daily Telegraph in Australia, but Goodrem told him she was "too young" to settle down.
Sources close to Goodrem tell the publication the 23-year-old struggled with her decision because, although she’s madly in love with McFadden, she’s not ready to become a stepmother to his two young daughters from his first marriage to British singer Kerry Katona.
A pal says, "She really loves him very much, but doesn’t want to be a mum so soon. It’s a huge responsibility and she’s still too young." The newspaper reports a planned vacation in Bali has since been cancelled, suggesting McFadden has taken the marriage snub to heart.

The SPICE GIRLS reunion tour is under threat after GERI HALLIWELL’s daughter BLUEBELL fell ill with chicken pox - risking the health of the band.
Halliwell was so concerned about the virus spreading to the rest of the band - and their children - that she has had the 18-month-old flown back to the U.K.
to be looked after by her family.
Although chicken pox is a disease which mainly affects children, the virus can lead to an outbreak of shingles in adults - a debilitating condition which could leave the singers too ill to perform.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Chicken pox is very contagious and when Geri noticed the spots on Bluebell she panicked and warned the rest of the girls.
"And it’s not only them who are at risk. Bluebell has played a lot with Victoria’s sons Cruz and Romeo lately. Mel B’s baby Angel could get the bug too, and is only eight months old so could be really hit for six (could really suffer)."

Rocker BRYAN ADAMS has sparked rumours he is dating Australian supermodel ELLE MacPHERSON after the pair were spotted kissing outside his London home.

R&B star AKON is to appear in court after being charged in relation to an incident at a concert where he allegedly picked up a fan and threw him into the audience - injuring another crowd member.
The Smack That hitmaker has been charged with a misdemeanour count of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment in connection with the controversial concert which took place in New York in June (07).
Akon was performing in Fishkill when someone in the audience allegedly threw something at him. The singer asked the crowd to point out the culprit and a security guard sent the boy up onto the stage where Akon hoisted him onto his shoulders and threw him back into the audience. The kid landed on another teenager who later claimed she had been diagnosed with concussion, according to TMZ.com. Police have been investigating the incident since the summer (07) and have now found that there is enough evidence to press criminal charges against the star, who will appear in court in Fishkill on Monday (3Dec07) to face an arraignment hearing.
This isn’t the first time Akon has faced controversy over his behaviour at his concerts. In May (07) he was heavily criticised for dancing with an underaged female fan on stage and in October (07) a show at Atlanta’s Emeroy University had to be cancelled after several people were injured while setting up for the gig. SPICE GIRLS star MELANIE BROWN has given her beloved Labrador a new lease of life - by taking him to Los Angeles with her.
The pop star fell for the dog - who she named Lord - when he was just three months old and took him home to her English country retreat.
But years of England’s damp weather have taken their toll on Lord, who suffers from arthritis and other joint problems - and so his mistress decided the California sun would be the perfect remedy - and relocated him.
She says, "The bitter cold in England would have done him no favours." And Lord loves his new home in the sun so much, he doesn’t like the idea of joining Mel B on the road as she tours North America with the reunited Spice Girls.
She adds, "I’ve got a dog-sitter."

An Internet hoaxer pretending to be Tiffany DuPont, 26, claimed she had "offered" herself to Clooney and Cruise - and slept with both, but now the actress has hit back at the cruel lies.
DuPont, who had a small role in Hilary Duff’s Cheaper By The Dozen film, has denied she wrote the online story that was picked up by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
In a post on her website, the actress reveals she was the victim of an elaborate hoax.

George Clooney, Tyler Perry, producer Brian Grazer, Jerry Bruckheimer, Will Ferrell and Lord of The Rings director Peter Jackson also made the top 20 on the 50 Smartest People in Hollywood list.

CARRIE FISHER’s actress half-sister JOELY is counting her blessings after surviving a horrific car wreck.
The 40-year-old was travelling with her daughter at the time and the crash left them both in fits of tears.
Fisher says, "It was a head-on collision with someone who ran a light and it was a mess.
"I had my daughter in the car with me and we both sat on the sidewalk sobbing. But I feel so blessed that both of us and the driver of the other vehicle were unharmed.
"It was a miracle, and I’m just so grateful to be here."

The actress and longtime partner Shooter Jennings welcomed baby Alabama Gypsy Rose into the world on Wednesday (28Nov07).

Rockers QUEEN will pay a special tribute to former frontman FREDDIE MERCURY by releasing their new single on World Aids Day (01Dec07).
Say It’s Not True is the group’s first studio collaboration with new singer Paul Rodgers.
It will be available as a free download from Saturday (10Dec07) on the band’s website.
Mercury died of AIDS complications in 1991, and his former bandmates hope their new single will help spread awareness about the killer disease, which claimed their pal.
Drummer Roger Taylor says, "No one is safe from infection. We have to be aware, we have to protect ourselves and those we love." Meanwhile, Queen and former Free frontman Rodgers are working on an album of new material, which is scheduled for a 2008 release.
