WATSON REFUSES TO DELAY ALBUM RELEASE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:09 pm

British singer RUSSELL WATSON is refusing to delay the release of his new album - a month after beating a brain tumour that almost killed him.
The classical star is recovering at home after having emergency surgery following his collapse in a recording studio in October (07).
Despite the ordeal, Watson is determined the record will hit stores soon against the advice from executives at his record company.
A statement from his management reads, "Russell is presently recovering at home. He had been advised by both ourselves and his record label to delay the scheduled release of his new record. "His response was resolute, and, in his own words `There is absolutely no way that this record is to be delayed. After what I have just been through and with the near future in doubt, it is unclear when and if there will be a good time to release the record… I would like the record to go ahead as planned.’" He adds, "Although I won’t be actively promoting the record, it is more for the fans who have waited long enough for this." The singer used the statement to thank fans for their support: "You have once again been there for me when it mattered. I don’t know where to start or if words can truly express the emotions I have felt in the last 3 weeks."
