Police gifts

Posted in: Bizzare Stories — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:02 pm

A British police force has spent £10,000 setting up an online gift shop selling jail-related children’s clothing.
The Kent police website sells clothed and baby bibs bearing slogans including ‘I’ve been inside for nine months’ and ‘Out at last’, along with toys, models, mugs and golf balls.
Simon Redman, Director of Support Services, said: "It is expected that the shop will eventually create surplus funds to cover the cost of its development, and also to contribute to crime prevention initiatives across the county." The products range in price from £1.50 for gift cards to £16 for a men’s long sleeve shirt.
