WINEHOUSE’S DAD SAYS ‘SORRY’ TO FANS
AMY WINEHOUSE’s father has apologised to fans on behalf of his troubled daughter for cancelling the remainder of her U.K. tour, insisting the decision "is in her best interests".
The Rehab hitmaker pulled the rest of her promotional appearances for the rest of 2007 on the advice of her doctors earlier this week (27Nov07), and dad Mitch is adamant a good rest is just what the singer needs.
But he has declined to comment directly on Winehouse’s health status, simply saying "all options" were being considered as to whether the star will undergo treatment at a rehabilitation clinic to kick her drug habit.
