MILLER CANCELS FERRY COURT DATE BY TEXT
British actress SIENNA MILLER cancelled an appearance at the trial of BRYAN FERRY’s son OTIS by text message.
The Factory Girl star was due to appear as a witness at West London Magistrates court on Tuesday (27Nov07) where Otis Ferry is being tried for criminal damage.
Ferry denies causing $1400 (£680) of damage to the cars of two photographers who were taking pictures of Miller leaving London nightclub Boujis in February (07) with his brother Isaac - who she was rumoured to be dating at the time.
The 25-year-old is alleged to have reached through the windows of both cars, removed the keys from the ignition and thrown them away.
But Miller sent a text message to inform the court that she would not be attending due to filming commitments in Mexico.
Ferry’s lawyer Philip Lucas told the court, "I have a witness difficulty in that she is not here. She has indicated she can’t make it in a text." The judge indicated that Miller will be forced to testify at a later date.
The hearing continues.
