JENSEN NOT LOOKING TO IMPRESS FASHION CRITICS
UGLY BETTY star ASHLEY JENSEN refuses to take the views of fashion critics seriously, because she is "too old" to worry about impressing trend-setting publications.
The 38-year-old, who plays stylist Christina on the hit U.S. comedy, admits she doesn’t bow to public pressure anymore because she’s more experienced in Hollywood.
She says, "I always got a bit stressed about that, having the big fat cross on your head and feet in magazines. Buy you know what? I’ve been out here a year now, and people are like, ‘Is it a pressure? Is it a pressure to look a certain way?’ "And I think it’s because I’m over 30 now that I feel like I’ve been around the block too many times. I’ve been working for so long, I kind of don’t really care any more. I’m me. This is me. This is what I am."
