JENSEN STAR-STRUCK AFTER BECKHAM ENCOUNTER
UGLY BETTY star ASHLEY JENSEN was left open-mouthed after meeting DAVID BECKHAM and his pop star wife VICTORIA BECKHAM on the set of the hit comedy.
The 38-year-old and fellow Scottish actor Derek Riddell, who plays her husband Stuart in the series, were overwhelmed when the English soccer star arrived to watch the Spice Girl film her cameo as Wilhelmina Slater’s bridesmaid on the show.
But the actress admits she was so star-struck by the superstar couple, she had trouble holding a conversation with either Beckham.
She says, "Derek and I were just like, ‘Should I go and speak to David Beckham?’ We’re like, ‘All right.’ So we went out and we’re like, ‘David, yeah.
How is it going in L.A.?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, I like it.’ "Then we spoke to Victoria, ‘How are you getting on, Victoria?’ She’s like, ‘Oh, yeah, I love it here.’ I’m like, ‘How’s the driving coming along?’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, you know, it’s coming along.’ And Derek and I were looking at each other, going, ‘Yeah, David Beckham.’"
