WINEHOUSE’S MOTHER-IN-LAW BLAMES FAME FOR PROBLEMS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:30 pm

AMY WINEHOUSE’s mother-in-law has blamed the celebrity lifestyle for the public downfall of her son BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL.
Georgette Civil, 42, accuses the music industry of glamorising drug use and believes it has encouraged her 25-year-old son and Winehouse’s addictions.
She says, "It’s not how we (Georgette and husband Giles) were brought up or how we’ve brought our three boys up. But in London and in the music industry drugs are glamorised and it sickens me. "Why is it deemed clever that artists like Amy or Pete Doherty or Kate Moss take Class A drugs? Why do their careers seem only to thrive after scandalous tales of their drug taking? "The music industry and the whole cult of celebrity has a hell of a lot to answer for when it comes to drugs and I cannot understand how they get away with it." Winehouse and Fielder-Civil entered rehab together in August (07). Last month (Oct07), the couple were arrested in Norway for possession of marijuana.
