SHEARS DESPERATE TO JOIN TAKE THAT
Pop singer JAKE SHEARS is considering quitting the SCISSOR SISTERS - so he can join British boy band TAKE THAT.
The Filthy/Gorgeous hitmaker is willing to fill in for Howard Donald on the band’s Beautiful World tour after the singer punctured a lung during an energetic dance routine earlier this month (15Nov07).
Shears says, "I absolutely love Take That and would drop everything to join them on stage. It sucked that Howard got injured. I would have been him for a while if they’d asked. "Right now I have time in my schedule and it means I’d get to dance again though I’d probably pass on the backflips."
