HYLTON: ‘I WAS NEVER FRIENDS WITH ALESHA’
British pop star JAVINE HYLTON has hit back at claims she stole MC HARVEY from pal ALESHA DIXON, insisting they were never friends.
The singer, who met Harvey when they co-starred on hit musical Daddy Cool in London’s West End, claims she was not pals with the former Mis-Teeq singer, because she would "never do that to a friend".
She says, "It makes me look terrible. I would never do that to a friend.
"I’ve met her two or three times for two minutes and it was, ‘Hi, how are you, bye’. You can’t steal a person. You can steal things but you can’t steal someone’s heart." And Hylton, who is seven months pregnant with the former So Solid Crew rapper’s child, admits it was not love at first sight.
She adds, "I thought he was an idiot at first. He got on my nerves."
