Former tennis ace BORIS BECKER has split from his girlfriend SHARLELY KERSSENBERG.
According to reports in Becker’s native Germany, the star split from the Dutch model earlier this month (Nov07). Their last public appearance together was at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich on 1 November (07).
But Becker claims it was a mutual decision and says they are still "good friends", adding that a third person was not involved.
He tells German magazine Revue, "We came to realise in the course of time that we stood for different lifestyles. In such a situation you have to be honest with each other."

American THE OFFICE star ANGELA KINSEY is pregnant with her first child.
The 36-year-old actress - who plays uptight accountant Angela Martin on the hit TV comedy - and her husband Warren Lieberstein broke the news to Usmagazine.com, and admitted they are yet to find out the sex of the baby.
Kinsey’s representative says, "She and her husband are very excited."

Comedian JERRY SEINFELD is planning to "fade away" from the movie industry to spend more time with his young children.
The 53-year-old, who currently voices the character of Barry B Benson in the animated Bee Movie - revealed his intentions on an Australian TV show on Wednesday (21Nov07), saying he didn’t want to miss out on seeing his kids grow up.
Asked if he will be doing any more animated projects, he replied, "I doubt it. I wanna be with my own kids. I tend to over-involve myself in things that I make, so it takes me away from the family.
"They’re young, so I just think I’m probably going to fade away a little bit after this." Seinfeld has three young children with his wife Jessica: daughter Sascha, seven; four-year-old Julian Kal, and two-year-old Shepherd Kellen.

Shamed boxer MIKE TYSON has been released from an Arizona jail, after serving his 24-hour sentence overnight (20/21Nov07).
The 41-year-old former heavyweight champion was serving time in relation to a 2006 incident outside a Scottsdale, Arizona club.
He was handed the one-day sentence on Monday (19Nov07) after pleading guilty to one felony count of cocaine possession and one misdemeanour count of driving under the influence (DUI). He must also serve three years’ probation.
According to a Fox News report, the fallen star spent his time reading the Mark Jacobson book, American Gangster, which inspired the true-life crime drama starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.

The Manhattan resident insists the city’s residents take foreign workers for granted.

Rapper KANYE WEST is selling his Beverly Hills, California mansion - it’s on the market for a staggering $8.69 million (£4.34 million).
The Stronger hitmaker’s property has been listed on Realtor.com, where it has been described as "a rare offering".
The two-storey house boasts six bedrooms, four baths and a detached garage, according to TMZ.com.

Former NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK singer JOEY McINTYRE is celebrating after his wife BARRETT gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday (20Nov07).
McIntyre’s son weighed in at seven pounds and 12 ounces (3.4 kilograms) when he was born at a Los Angeles hospital. The couple, who has been married for four years, has yet to decide on a name.
A representative McIntyre tells People.com, "The family is happy and healthy.
Everyone’s doing well and they’re excited he made it here in time for Thanksgiving." The tot is the couple’s first child together.

Rapper T.I. has helped to raise $166,000 (£83,000) to save a Thanksgiving meal for the homeless - despite his current status under house arrest.
The Bring ‘Em Out star - real name Clifford Harris Jr. - is being held as a prisoner in his own Atlanta, Georgia, home, after he was arrested last month (Oct07) on illegal weapons charges.
But that didn’t stop the lyricist from joining in the Hosea Williams Feed The Hungry and Homeless Foundation fundraiser on Tuesday (20Nov07) to raise money for the organisation’s 38th annual Thanksgiving dinner.
T.I. teamed up with U.S. radio DJ Ryan Cameron to head a campaign to raise the $150,000 (£75,000) needed for Thursday’s (22Nov07) turkey meal, after a key donor pulled out of sponsoring the event.
And the pair did more than enough, raising a total of $166,000 in less than three hours during the charity broadcast on Cameron’s radio show. A number of celebrities called in to pledge some cash to the cause, including R&B singer Ne-Yo, rappers Busta Rhymes, Bow Wow and Wyclef Jean, and music mogul Jermaine Dupri.
T.I., who contributed $20,000 (£10,000) of his own money, called into the show to tell fans: "God put me in a position where I can help. With great reward comes great responsibility and I’m just happy to have the ability to do this. I wish I could do more." Rockers LYNYRD SKYNYRD’s former drummer ARTIMUS PYLE has been jailed after failing to register as a sex offender.
The 59-year-old - real name Thomas Delmer Pyle - pleaded guilty in 1993 to charges of attempted sexual battery on a victim younger than 12 and also principal to lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 16 years old.
He was sentenced to eight years’ probation and ordered to register as a sex offender.
But Pyle is currently being held in Florida on $10,000 (£5,000) bail after his failure to register as a convicted sex offender was discovered when he renewed his driver’s licence in the state. His renewal details were automatically forwarded to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement sex offender database, and authorities discovered Pyle had not registered since 2001.
Pyle was told to register as a sex offender in his current state of residency, but he has since failed to change his address and register in person as required by Florida law.
In official documents obtained by website TMZ.com, Pyle blames the non-registration on his hectic lifestyle, saying he "travels a lot".

Troubled star AMY WINEHOUSE has sparked rumours she is back on drugs following the release of photographs capturing her with residue of a white powder in her nostril.
The singer was pictured with the substance in her nose on the way to her Blackpool, England gig as part of her U.K. tour on Tuesday (20Nov07) - shortly after pal Pete Doherty claimed she had cleaned up her wild ways.
The Babyshambles rocker has also pledged his support for Winehouse while her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, fights charges of perverting the course of justice in relation to a charge of grievous bodily harm.

NICOLE RICHIE is lending her name to a bizarre U.S. campaign to save street lights - from the dangers of dog urine.
The star, who has two dogs - Foxxy Brown and Honeychild - has signed up to promote Swedish inventor Lennart Jarrelbro’s latest creation, dog urinals, to stop the metal on the posts being eroded by the chemicals found in canine waste products.

Pop superstar SHAKIRA has sparked controversy in Afghanistan after a national TV network was blasted by the Muslim country’s government for broadcasting a concert by the sexy singer.
The Colombian beauty, 30, is known for her scantily-clad belly dancing and skimpy stage costumes - and the showing of the raunchy concert performance on local network Tolo TV has angered religious officials and Muslim clerics.
But Tolo TV owner, Saad Mohseni, has defended his decision to broadcast the gig, claiming the show was "not that provocative", and "Shakira was pixellated (across her chest)" to minimise any offence the concert might cause.
And Australian-raised Mohseni believes his company is simply being targeted by the government.
He adds, "The government is looking for an excuse to have a go at us. When we give air time to the Taliban we are ‘talking to terrorists’; when we air people criticising the government, we are told we are ‘opposing peace and reconciliation’." Afghani President Hamid Karzi is now looking to implement new censorship laws which will give the government "greater powers to limit broadcasts that are deemed damaging to Afghanistan and its culture".

ANGELINA JOLIE’s adopted daughter ZAHARA was the product of a rape, the two-year-old’s natural mother has revealed.
Ethiopian Mentwabe Dawit claims she was attacked in 2004 while walking home from work - and later discovered she was pregnant.
Dawit says, "He pulled a dagger, put one hand on my mouth so that I could not scream. He then raped me and disappeared." She later abandoned the baby because she couldn’t afford to feed her - so Dawit put her up for adoption.
Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt adopted Zahara in July 2005.

Oscar-nominee TERRENCE HOWARD has signed on to make his Broadway debut in a 2008 production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.
The Crash star will play Brick in the show, alongside Phylicia Rashad, Giancarlo Esposito and James Earl Jones, when it opens at New York’s Broadhurst Theatre in March 2008.
The lead role of Maggie the Cat - played by Elizabeth Taylor in the 1958 movie version - has yet to be cast. Kerry Washington and Anika Noni Rose are favourites to land the part.
Producer Stephen Byrd tells the New York Daily News, "It’s confirmed. We’re there. Terrence and I were together last week; he’s on board."

LATEST: The stars of Broadway show THE GRINCH beat the ban on them returning to work - by giving fans an impromptu performance on the streets of New York.
More than 30 performers, including many of the show’s child actors, sang songs from the show, as hundreds of fans gathered outside the St James Theater on Tuesday (20Nov07).
Cast and crew on all Broadway productions have been on strike since 10 November (07), supporting stagehands’ quest for better pay.
Union bosses gave workers on The Grinch permission to return to work, because the show is only due to run during the Christmas period and is in danger of shutting down for good.
But theatre bosses refuse to let the strikers return, in support for other venues.
Speaking outside the theatre on New York’s 44th Street and Eight Avenue, The Grinch conductor David Rosenblum said, "We’re being illegally locked out of the theatre. There’s no legal reason why the show shouldn’t be going on."

LATEST: Actor DENNIS QUAID and his wife KIMBERLY have pleaded with the press to respect their privacy while their newborn twins fight for their lives following an accidental drugs overdose.
Quaid’s children Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace - born on 8 November (07) - are in intensive care in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles after they were given 10,000 unit doses of anti-coagulant Heparin by mistake, instead of the standard 10 units.
On Tuesday (20Nov07), the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Michael L.
Langberg, admitted the error was "preventable" and involved "a failure to follow our standard policies and procedures".
He has also apologised to the distraught couple, according to reports.
In a statement to E! News, Quaid’s representative Cara Tripicchio says, "Dennis and Kimberly appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers and hope they can maintain their privacy at this difficult time." The babies are 53-year-old Quaid’s second and third children - he already has a 17-year-old son with his ex-wife Meg Ryan.

LATEST: U.S. prosecutors have rejected WESLEY SNIPES’ claims he won’t get a fair trial in Florida on tax evasion charges because of racial prejudice.
Snipes is due to stand trial in the city of Ocala in Marion County in January (08), on charges he fraudulently claimed tax refunds of almost $12 million (£6 million) in 1996 and 1997. He is also accused of failing to file tax returns from 1999 to 2004.
His legal team attempted to get the case moved to New York, alleging Ocala is "a hotbed of (Ku Klux Klan) activity" and that prosecutors chose it so Snipes would face an all-white jury.
But the claims have been described as "baseless" by federal prosecutors.
U.S. Attorney Robert O’Neill filed a complaint on Tuesday (20Nov07) that reads, "Defendant Snipes’ motion hurls scurrilous and baseless accusations at the prosecution and citizenry of Ocala in an overwrought attempt to have this case dismissed or transferred to another venue."

Disgraced American football icon MICHAEL VICK has turned himself over to Virginia authorities, checking into jail three weeks before he is due to be sentenced for dogfighting charges.
The Atlanta Falcons quarterback surrendered himself to U.S. marshals on Monday (19Nov07), reporting to Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw in anticipation of a prison sentence.
Vick entered a guilty plea in a federal court in Richmond in August (07), where he admitted helping to kill six to eight pit bulls and supplying money for gambling on the fights as part of a plea agreement to lessen prison time.
He is due to be sentenced on 10 December (07).
But Vick’s attorney claims the sportsman’s actions this week (begs19Nov07) show he is trying to make amends for his crimes.
Lawyer Billy Martin says, "From the beginning, Mr. Vick has accepted responsibility for his actions, and his self-surrender further demonstrates that acceptance. Michael wants to again apologise to everyone who has been hurt in this matter, and he thanks all of the people who have offered him and his family prayers and support during this time." Vick - who will be having a very sombre Thanksgiving on Thursday (22Nov07) faces a maximum of five years in jail when he appears in court next month (Dec07), but is only expected to receive between 12 to 18 months behind bars.
Vick has already been sentenced by America’s National Football League and his sponsors - NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended Vick indefinitely without pay and the sports star’s sponsors Nike have pulled all advertising connected to him.
