HANKS WANTS TO BE A SHAKESPEAREAN VILLAIN
TOM HANKS is desperate to destroy his nice guy image, by playing a Shakespearean villain.
The Oscar winner has carved an ultra-successful career out of playing everyday heroes on the big screen, but he hasn’t given up hope of shaking off his stereotype.
Hanks confesses he would love the chance to star in Othello, playing bad guy Iago.
He says, "There are Shakespearean villains I’d jump at the chance to play, given the right circumstances."
