YORKE DOWNLOADS RADIOHEAD ALBUM FOR FREE
RADIOHEAD frontman THOM YORKE was one of thousands of people to download the band’s latest album for free. The band released their latest LP, In Rainbows, as a digital download last month (Oct07) and allowed customers to choose their own price.
And Yorke admits he was eager to take advantage of the band’s offer.
He says, "There wasn’t any point. I just move some money from one pocket to the other." Meanwhile, guitarist Ed O’Brien says the project was initially shrouded in secrecy. He says, "We had to literally tell no-one. I didn’t tell my wife we were going to release it like this."
