WINEHOUSE ASKS FANS TO SEND FIELDER-CIVIL ROSES
Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE has pleaded with fans to send BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL red roses to show their support for her jailed husband.
The star sent a bouquet of flowers to her incarcerated partner at the weekend (17-18Nov07) to celebrate the couple’s six-month wedding anniversary, and urged fans at a gig in Glasgow, Scotland, on Saturday (17Nov07) to follow her example.
She told the audience, "I’m going to send him a bouquet of flowers. And I want everyone here to send Blake a red rose," before giving out his address at London’s Pentonville Prison.
Winehouse and Fielder-Civil were married in May (07) in Miami, Florida.
Fielder-Civil is currently being held after his arrest earlier this month (Nov07) on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to a charge of grievous bodily harm.
