Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:54 pm

LATEST: JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS faces another embarrassment about his drunken behaviour at the weekend (18Nov07) - he’s featured in the new issue of men’s magazine Details insisting his boozing days are over.
The Irish actor was arrested by police after a drunken clash with airport staff at Dublin airport on Sunday after he was told he was "unfit to travel".
The incident took place after the 30-year-old, who entered rehab to battle his alcoholism earlier this year (07), spent months telling interviewers he was winning his battle with the bottle.
He tells Details, "I didn’t drink until I was 25, and I never drank every day, but when I did, it was bad. It would be a couple of days that just wouldn’t work out for me, waking up with a hangover.
"Drink doesn’t fit into the groove of where my life is going." In another recent interview with Complex magazine, the actor admitted not drinking is "difficult".
He said, "I’m 30 years old and Irish."

SNOOP SEVERS LINKS WITH TROUBLEMAKERS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:54 pm

SNOOP DOGG has cut ties from more than half of his entourage in a bid to avoid trouble from the law in 2008.
The rapper was banned from the U.K. in March (07) because of his drug convictions and had a San Francisco city honour withdrawn because of his past legal issues.
Snoop was also sentenced to serve 160 hours of community service in October (07) for illegal possession of a dangerous weapon.
The Gin & Juice hitmaker was arrested as he walked through security at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California with a collapsible baton in September 2006.
He pleaded no contest to felony gun and drug charges in April (07).
But the family man is determined to clean up his act in 2008 and he has started by severing links to troublemakers in his posse.
Longtime sidekick Bishop Don Magic Juan tells urban magazine Sister 2 Sister the rapper is concentrating on his friendships with ministers and "straight" friends.
He says, "He needs that support right now." And Snoop’s pal insists the changes have already brought the rapper more peace.
He adds, "It’s been amazing because it’s been a more peaceful thing for the champ." Don Juan claims Snoop has cut his entourage from 70 to 22.

LEIGH WOULD NOT HAVE SHIED AWAY FROM BROWN BUNNY CONTROVERSY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:45 pm

Actress JENNIFER JASON LEIGH would have performed fellatio on actor VINCENT GALLO if she’d agreed to take the role CHLOE SEVIGNY played in controversial movie THE BROWN BUNNY.
Sevigny is reported to have actually performed oral sex on Gallo for a scene in the film, and Leigh admits she wouldn’t have flinched if she’d taken the role.
The Single White Female star turned the part down because "it just didn’t work out," but it had nothing to do with the potential controversy.
She says, "I think I would’ve done it if I weren’t in a relationship at the time. I don’t think there’s any stigma, really.
"I love that film In The Realm Of The Senses. I don’t think it’s pornographic in any way, but the actors are actually having sex.
"Those kinds of limits are interesting to me if it’s really well done."

The actor recalls, "He came close to hitting me with his tennis racquet, but it was all a big accident.
"I was one of those ball boys at the net that run across and grab the ball after it’s smacked into the net. I had good reflexes so as soon as a ball went into the net I was there two seconds later.
