GELDOF WINS BID TO WORK ON HISTORIC HOUSE
SIR BOB GELDOF has won permission to re-roof an historic English coach house for his father despite objections from neighbours and councillors.
The singer sparked controversy for applying for permission to use new tiles on the coach house - a converted barn - at Faversham’s Davington Priory, in Kent, England.
But he was granted planning permission earlier this week (ends16Nov07) and is now set to modernise the home for his ageing father, Robert.
