BOY GEORGE FACE CASH CRISIS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:27 pm

British singer BOY GEORGE was left "gobsmacked" after inadvertently signing a legal demand for $62,000 (£31,000).
The former Culture Club star understood he was signing an autograph for a fan in a Manchester, England, nightclub.
But the document was actually a demand for money the star allegedly owes promoter Kasia Saleh for cancelling an appearance at Club GAY USA in Los Angeles.
A spokesman for Saleh says, "When he was told what it was he was gobsmacked." Last month (Oct07), Manchester High Court heard the 46-year-old - real name George O’Dowd - pulled out of the event following an arrest for possession of cocaine.
The judge ordered George to pay $62,000 to compensate Saleh and cover costs but she claims O’Dowd has refused.
