ROTTEN: ‘THE SEX PISTOLS MADE NO MONEY UNTIL 1996′

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:12 am

THE SEX PISTOLS failed to make any money at the height of their fame in the 1970s - according to the band’s frontman JOHN LYDON.
Lydon, who is better known as Johnny Rotten, insists the band were living in poverty until they reunited for their global six-month Filthy Lucre Tour in 1996.
He says, "I love the money. But do you know how broke the Pistols were? Until that ‘96 reunion tour we never got a pay-off at all. We never saw a penny."
