CLOONEY EYES DAMON’S SEXIEST MAN TITLE
GEORGE CLOONEY has warned MATT DAMON that if he can’t live up to the responsibilities of being crowned the Sexiest Man Alive, then he’ll take over the position for him.
Damon was this week (begs12Nov07) awarded the annual title by U.S. magazine People, and last year’s (06) sexiest man Clooney is keeping a close eye on him.
Clooney jokes, "There’s a lot of responsibility with this. I believe in the event that he can’t serve, the former sexiest man can take over. So if he slips up, I’m ready to take back the crown.
"When we were lobbying for him earlier (in previous years), I don’t think he was ready for it. It takes some maturity. Now I think he can handle the pressure."
