Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE was a "wild terror" during her school years, according to former classmate and MCFLY star TOM FLETCHER The 22-year-old says the Rehab hitmaker began her outrageous antics at an early age - and made a reputation for herself by befriending the school’s troublesome crowd. He says, "She was a few years older than me when we were at (performing arts school) Sylvia Young, so I wasn’t friends (with her) or anything but it is quite a small school so everybody knows each other. "She wasn’t in many of my classes but she had a reputation back then of being quite wild. (But) I knew that she was extremely talented and she had an amazing voice." Winehouse recently hit the headlines after husband Blake Fielder-Civil was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. She was also admitted to hospital earlier this year (07) after an alleged drugs overdose.

Irish actor JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS vows never to bed his movie co-stars - because it ruins the onscreen sexual chemistry.
Meyers, who has starred in Mission: Impossible III with Keri Russell and actress Toni Colette in Velvet Goldmine, is looking for a girlfriend outside of the industry.
He says, "It’s best not to bed your leading lady on the first day of rehearsals. Especially if your roles require sexual chemistry. Sleeping together spoils it. Maybe that’s why I haven’t dated an actress for nine years."

Actors ALEC BALDWIN, TINA FEY and MICHELLE RYAN have seen their TV contracts suspended following the Hollywood writer’s strike.
Studio Universal Media Studios have informed the casts on hit TV shows 30 Rock, Bionic Woman and The Office that they will be suspended on half-pay for five weeks.
Other studios are expected to follow suit within days, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Strikes by member of the Writers Guilld of America have disrupted production across the industry effecting TV favourites including Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy as well as top late night talk shows The Late Show and The Tonight Show.

Hollywood star KATE BECKINSALE was once jealous of actor BRUCE WILLIS - because he spent valuable time with her husband LEN WISEMAN on the set of DIE HARD 4.0.
The actress resents Wiseman’s occupation because it means he is away from home for months - and she is not impressed when the director spends more time with his cast than her.
She says, "When Len was directing Die Hard 4.0, I felt so lonely because he was virtually a stranger for several months. He only came home to sleep." But the Pearl Harbour star has found a way for the couple to make up for lost time.
"I told him he’d have to make it up to me. After he finished the film, I didn’t let him out of bed for a month!"

Rapper 50 CENT is using BRITNEY SPEARS as an example in his ongoing fight against music industry hypocrisy - because he can’t believe no one made a fuss when she opened her GIMME MORE hit with the words "It’s Britney, bitch." 50 Cent insists that if he or one of his hip-hop peers had started a song using the word ‘bitch’ they would be demonised.
He fumes, "I guess they have their rules that apply individually to each artist.
"But it’s not a rule that applies to everybody else. Matter of fact, my next single, I’m going to start it (with), ‘It’s Britney, bitch!’" Meanwhile, 50 is still mad with TV bosses in America after they renamed his new single I Still Kill.
Concerned with the violent message of the title, producers at cable music channels MTV and BET have listed the track as I Still Will, which has enraged the rap star.
He tells MTV News, "My new (film) project with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Donnie Wahlberg… is called Righteous Kill. Nobody has a problem with that, but I Still Kill is the wrong title for a song."

RUSSELL CROWE met a group of hardened criminals in a bid to research his role in movie AMERICAN GANGSTER - and intimidated them with his impressive resume.
The actor was keen to perfect his role of Detective Richie Roberts in the crime movie, so paid a visit to notorious New York gangsters for advice.
But it was Crowe who left the group trembling - with his filmography.
He says, "With the first couple I met, I couldn’t work out why they were shaking. I thought they must’ve been dealing with some sort of extreme drug problem or something like that. But then one of the gangsters I was doing the interview with said about the other one, ‘No, don’t worry. He’s just f**kin’ nervous. He’s nervous because he’s being interviewed by Maximus!’ "This is a guy who may well have been responsible for killing people, but a movie star is a movie star."

Supermodel HEIDI KLUM served double duty at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Hollywood on Thursday night (15Nov07) - as well as strutting on the Kodak Theatre’s runway, she also performed a duet with her husband SEAL.
The glitzy show also featured the Spice Girls’ first reunion show and a performance from Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, who was a last minute replacement for Kanye West.

Singer KATIE MELUA is unfazed by rumours she is gay - because she likes to keep her fans guessing about her sexuality.
Speculation the 23-year-old is a lesbian began when she split from Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard in 2005.
But Melua insists she won’t bow down to pressure to discuss her sexuality.

British rocker PETE DOHERTY is pleading with his former LIBERTINES bandmate CARL BARAT to join him on the upcoming BABYSHAMBLES tour.
The band are hoping Barat will play the guitar when they perform a cover of the Libertines track Time For Heroes.
Bassist Drew McConnell says, "I suggested getting Carl. But he’s not going to be around. "Every time I mention collaborating Pete’s always keen - he still calls him Biggles. We wanted to get him on (Babyshambles’ second album) Shotter’s Nation as well, but he was too busy." Babyshambles kick off their U.K tour at the MEN Arena in Manchester on 22 November (07) and finish in Glasgow, Scotland on 1 December (07).

Actress SALMA HAYEK is struggling with becoming a first time mother - and often relies on ex-boyfriend JOSH LUCAS to babysit.
The Mexican actress gave birth to daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on 21 September (07).
And Lucas - who dated Hayek for one year before splitting in 2004 - has offered to help his ex-girlfriend and her fiance Francois-Henri Pinault with childcare.
He tells Usmagazine, "She’s beautiful! I threw Legos at her. I was like, ‘Construct, right now!’"

Singer SEAN KINGSTON almost quit the music industry after his idols TIMBALAND and PHARRELL rejected his early recordings.
The 17-year-old - whose debut single Beautiful Girls was certified platinum in July 2007 - was finally given a break when Britney Spears’ reported ex-boyfriend J.R. Rotem agreed to sign him to his label Beluga Heights.
Kingston, real name Kisean Anderson, says, "I was basically just a young kid going to high school, trying to get my music out there and I felt like singing in demos wasn’t the best way to do it. I was on MySpace networking, trying to get my music out there. I was hitting up anybody who was anybody like Timbaland, Swizz Beats, Pharrell, all these big producers, just hitting them up like, ‘Yo! Listen to my music! Just give me a chance!’ "Those guys never replied, but then I ran across J.R. Rotem’s page who I’m now signed to and who produced my album."

FOO FIGHTERS frontman DAVE GROHL is so desperate to see LED ZEPPELIN’s comeback gig he has denied his wife’s pleas to remain at home for Thanksgiving.
The rocker - who once said he would drop his bandmates if his music idols ever needed a drummer - was adamant he would not miss the one-off performance in London next month (10Dec07), even if it means upsetting wife Jordyn Blum.
He says, "When it was confirmed, I said to my wife, ‘After Thanksgiving I’m going to London to see Zeppelin play and that’s it.’ "It’s not that often I put my foot down that hard with my wife but this time I had to. Any true Zeppelin freak would have a hard time missing that gig."

An arrest warrant has been issued for the plastic surgeon who operated on KANYE WEST’s mother the day before she died.
Dr. Jan Adams failed to show up at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday morning (16Nov07) for a hearing with a disgruntled former patient.
Lori Ufondu won a $100,000 (£50,000) judgment after Dr. Adams left gauze in her breast following a boob job - her lawyer called Friday’s meeting after the doctor failed to pay up.
West’s mother, Donda, died in hospital on Saturday (10Nov07) following possible complications from a tummy tuck and breast reduction operation Dr.
Adams carried out on Friday (09Nov07).
Dr. Adams has denied any responsibility for Donda West’s death, insisting he has "done nothing wrong".

Australian actress ISLA FISHER will take a break from her acting career to concentrate on becoming a good mother to her daughter.
The Wedding Crashers star, 31, and fiance Sacha Baron Cohen welcomed baby Olive in Los Angeles on 17 October (07).
And Fisher reveals she’s happy to take a break from filming to enjoy life as a new mum.
She says, "There is no way I am going to worry about missing out on work or the pressure to lose weight. "At the moment I am not even planning any work. As far as I am concerned I am fully booked up in my personal life and I can’t see beyond that."

Former Miss Great Britain DANIELLE LLOYD has accepted substantial undisclosed damages from a newspaper over claims she cheated on her boyfriend to have sex with rapper 50 CENT.
The 23-year-old model took action against Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper over a report she sexually propositioned 50 Cent and Take That star Jason Orange while dating soccer star Marcus Bent.
Lloyd’s lawyer Magnus Boyd says, "The allegations were false. Danielle Lloyd did not proposition 50 Cent or Jason Orange, sexually or otherwise, nor did she have sex with 50 Cent and nor was she going out with, and therefore unfaithful to, Marcus Bent." Lloyd was at London’s High Court for the settlement of her action on Friday (16Nov07).
Speaking outside the court, Lloyd says, "I was devastated by the disgusting lies about my private life which The Daily Mirror published without a shred of evidence to back them up and despite being told the truth in advance… the allegations could not have been more hurtful and the story in which they appeared was unbelievably spiteful and malicious."

CHRISTINA MILIAN has confirmed fellow pop star CHRISTINA AGUILERA is expecting a son.
The 26-year-old was one of several guests at the pregnant star’s baby shower thrown earlier this month (10Nov01).
Aguilera received lots of blue coloured gifts - sparking speculation the sex of the unborn child is male.
And now Milian has confirmed the rumours.
She tells UsMagazine.com, "Her son is going to be pretty lucky because his mom… She’s just awesome! She is going to be a cool mom." The carnival-themed bash was the first of three baby showers to be held at the mother-to-be’s Beverly Hills home in California before she is due to give birth in the new year (08).

KATIE MELUA feared she would become a housewife if she stayed in her native former Soviet state Georgia - so fled to the U.K. to pursue a music career.
The 23-year-old singer moved to Belfast, Northern Ireland, from the European state when she was eight, before relocating to England at the age of 14.
And Melua is adamant she wouldn’t have fulfilled her dreams of becoming a singer if she had stayed in her home country.
She says, "If I’d stayed in Georgia I would have been destined for an early marriage. I would have been a mother and a housewife.
"When I came to the U.K. I thanked my lucky stars to be living in a country with job opportunities, equality and freedom of speech.
"If I’d been born in Britain, I wouldn’t have been so single-minded about making my own living and delaying getting married. But because of the culture in Georgia, I rebelled against the whole housewife thing."

TV actresses EVA LONGORIA and HAYDEN PANETTIERE joined hundreds of SPICE GIRLS fans for the band’s first live comeback on Thursday (15Nov07) night.
The Desperate Housewives star - who has become close friends with Spice Girl Victoria Beckham since her summer (07) move to Los Angeles - was one of several celebrity supporters in the audience at L.A’s Hollywood’s Kodak Theater for the five-piece’s performance at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Longoria tells People.com, "I’m here to support Victoria. Go Spice Girls!" And 18-year-old Panettiere adds, "I was dancing and singing along. I loved it. The Spice Girls were great. I knew every word to the first song. Enough said."
