OSMOND RETURNED TO DANCING THANKS TO GOD
MARIE OSMOND is convinced she was inspired by God to return to DANCING WITH THE STARS following the death of her father.
The religious singer was devastated after her dad George died last week (ends11Nov07) and cancelled her immediate schedule to fly home to Utah, leaving producers of the U.S. reality show fearing she wouldn’t return.
But Mormon Osmond insists a specific Bible excerpt encouraged her to carry on her quest to triumph on Dancing With The Stars - and believes it was a special message sent by her late father.
She says of the particularly poignant passage, "It said, there’s a time to mourn and a time to dance, and I felt like it was almost from my dad."
