CROWE TIPS SCOTT FOR OSCAR

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:36 pm

RUSSELL CROWE has tipped director SIR RIDLEY SCOTT to scoop an Academy Award for his new movie AMERICAN GANGSTER.
Crowe, who stars alongside Denzel Washington in the crime thriller, is sure this is the film that will change Scott’s luck and land him the Oscar he’s always deserved.
Scott previously directed Crowe in the 2000 epic Gladiator, a role which won him the coveted Best Actor award. But despite having received various accolades throughout his career, the moviemaker has yet to have his work recognised by the Academy.
And Crowe is convinced 2008 will be his lucky year.
He says, "If there’s any director I know who deserves an Oscar, it’s Ridley Scott.
"He is one of the greatest visual artists of our time and deserving of any honour that comes his way."
