AFFLECK MAKES FUN OF DAMON’S SEXIEST MAN ALIVE TITLE
BEN AFFLECK has poked fun at MATT DAMON after his childhood friend was named Sexiest Man Alive in a new poll.
Damon beat out competition from Patrick Dempsey and Ryan Reynolds and his Ocean’s 13 co-stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney to claim this year’s title.
And Affleck, a previous winner, has written a letter to the publication, lavishing joke praise on his pal.
He writes, "I’ve known Matt for 27 years and being sexiest is the only thing he’s ever truly cared about… For a guy like Matt, four foot eleven inches, 295 pounds, it’s a heck of an achievement.
"Matt has accomplished so many great things and won so many prizes, but, if I know anything, he holds this most dear among them." And Affleck also makes fun of the younger Damon he grew up with in Boston, Massachusetts.
He adds, "When he (Matt) went to the nightclubs, that two-tone shirt was the first thing to come off. Then he would get on the floor and just break you off some topless man dance."
