The 39-year-old star explains, "My alignment and my spine and my neck really had a hard time the first few years, so I’m training three times a week.
"I do a little bit of cardio and I am trying to do a lot of abdominals. I train for my health, not my physique."

New pals REBA McENTIRE and KELLY CLARKSON are hitting the road together for a winter tour early next year (08).
The flame-haired country queen and the first American Idol winner became friends when McEntire recorded Clarkson’s Because Of You hit with the pop star for her recent Reba Duets album.
Clarkson has since signed McEntire’s husband, Narvel Blackstock, as her manager and the pair teamed up to record a Crossroads TV concert special for U.S. cable music channel CMT.
The odd couple have now lined up 15 dates for their 2 Worlds 2 Voices tour, which will begin in Ohio on 17 January (08).
The tour will include a St. Valentine’s Day date (14Feb08) in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Actress/singer JESSICA SIMPSON’s ideal man is someone who wants to meet her grandparents - immediately.
During the first day of a two-day co-hosting stint on U.S. TV show The View, Simpson admitted she’s currently single - but she knows exactly what type of man she’s looking for.
Simpson, who recently dated rocker John Mayer and has been romantically linked to actor Owen Wilson, said, "As far as boys go, I don’t need them. I want a man.

Parents-to-be NICOLE RICHIE and JOEL MADDEN have created a new charity for mums in need.
The couple has set up the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation, which will provide baby equipment, cots and toys to struggling single mothers.
The pair will launch their new venture at a baby shower Paris Hilton is throwing for Richie in Beverly Hills on Sunday (18Nov07), and they’re asking friends and family members to bring unwanted cribs and strollers to the party which they can give away.

Knightley’s mother, Sharman MacDonaled, was one of the writers at the forefront of the sexual revolution and her books were popular among lusty teens - something her daughter discovered at school.

KEIRA KNIGHTLEY has defended her decision to sue the Daily Mail after the British newspaper insinuated she was an anorexic - because she feared the story would cost her film roles.
The paper printed photos of a stick-thin Knightley in a bikini and implied her frame had inspired a teenager, who had died from anorexia.
The actress was appalled by the article, sued the newspaper and was awarded a settlement.
She insists it was necessary for her to get tough.
Knightley explains, "It could potentially have ruined my career because if I had been anorexic, there is no way I would have been able to do a lot of the action movies that I do. People wouldn’t have hired me.
"When things are written that are trying to ruin my career, as that one (story) was, I obviously have to take that very seriously."

BRITNEY SPEARS paid $12,000 (GBP6,000) for a top-secret liposuction session in a bid to get her old pre-baby body back, according to reports.
The Toxic singer sneaked off to Nevada at the weekend (10Nov07) with her cousin Alli Sims for revolutionary Smartlipo treatment at the Minoli Plastic Surgery Clinic & Spa.
The 25-year-old mother-of-two spent five hours under the care of Dr. John Minoli on the same day rapper Kanye West’s mother died following complications from a plastic surgery procedure.
Spears chose Minoli for the extensive treatment because, according to the National Enquirer, she was more than happy with the work he had done on her back in April (07), during another top-secret session.
Minoli uses lasers to break down fat during his Smartlipo sessions.
According to the National Enquirer, he charges up to $4,000 (GBP2,000) per area and claims his treatments permanently destroy fat cells and tighten the skin. His surgery leaves no scars or stitches.
And, according to pals, Spears is already asking Gimme More. One source tells the publication, "She wants her perky pre-baby boobs back."

One of medical drama ER’s most controversial characters is to return to the series as part of a major overhaul to boost ratings.
With many fearing the current season of the show will be the last, producers have recalled Gloria Reuben to the cast, eight years after her HIV-positive character Jeanie Boulet left the drama.
Reuben was one of the original ER stars, and played Boulet for six seasons.
A source says, "The producers are hoping Gloria’s return will draw back older viewers who have strayed from the young, hipper cast." And the 43-year-old actress’ return is sure to tug the heartstrings of regular viewers - her character re-appears when she fears her son’s HIV has developed into full-blown AIDS.
Reuben’s return, coupled with the ongoing Hollywood writers strike, could keep ER on the air.
Last week (ends09Nov07), star John Stamos was hopeful the strike could help give the medical drama a boost.
He explained, "This could nudge another season out of ER. People have invested 14 years of their lives to this show and I feel they need a full season to end the show and wrap it up nice (and) bring back some characters."

BILL MURRAY, DAN AKYROYD and HAROLD RAMIS are teaming up again to voice their GHOSTBUSTERS characters in an upcoming video game based on the 1980s supernatural comedy movies.
Akyroyd and Ramis, who wrote the screenplay for both 1984’s Ghostbusters and its 1989 sequel Ghostbusters II, have penned a story for the game, which takes place in the early 1990s during a new invasion of spooks in New York City.
Ghostbusters regulars William Atherton, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts will also reprise their characters in the new game, which is due to be released in autumn 2008.
Classic movies The Godfather and Scarface have both recently been turned into hit video games.

JAMIE FOXX is hoping to teach men how to be gentlemen in a new reality TV show.
The Oscar winner has signed on to co-produce a new makeover show for MTV as part of a new two-year first-look production deal with the U.S. cable channel.
His first reality show will be called From Gs to Gents, and will feature streetwise guys who are given tips on how to charm the ladies.

The comedienne has come under fire for not joining fellow TV hosts David Letterman and Jay Leno and showing her support for the protestors - whereas they have shut down their shows since the strike began last week (05Nov07), DeGeneres has opted to continue filming The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
DeGeneres claims she decided to keep her talk show on air because she’s contractually obliged to provide syndicated programming to stations that screen her programme.
And she’s surprised her decision has attracted so much criticism, when similarly syndicated programmes such as Oprah remain unscathed.
DeGeneres says, "I try not to pay attention to anything, and I try not to read or watch TV or pay attention to what other people’s opinions are…
"I’m just trying to do my job and trying to explain my support for my writers.
"What’s sad is I support my writers 100 per cent. I love my writers and I miss them, and it’s hard coming to work right now." DeGeneres has axed plans to film her talk show in Manhattan, New York next week (begs19Nov07), after union bosses in the Big Apple urged her to scrap the programme.

Producers feared their aging hunks were getting a little paunchy and so they were all told to trim down before shooting began last month (Oct07).
David Eigenberg, who plays Steve Brady, the husband of Cynthia Nixon’s character Miranda Hobbes, admits he was one of the actors told to shape up.
He reveals, "It’s harder to be a man on Sex & The City than a woman.
"They (producers) can’t tell the women to lose weight. They tell the guys to lose weight. They told me to lose a couple of pounds." And Eigenberg took the trim-down comments to heart: "You should have seen me three months ago. I was fat. I dropped 20 pounds."

A group of hardcore white supremacists have put a bounty on DUANE ‘DOG’ CHAPMAN’s head after he publicly apologised for racial slurs he was caught using in a taped conversation.
The TV bounty hunter’s son went public with the tape after Chapman lashed out at his Mexican girlfriend, calling her a "whore" and a "n**ger", during a family row.
The National Enquirer then broadcast the tape on the internet, prompting a shamed Chapman to appear on CNN’s Larry King Live to apologise for his ill-advised rant.
And now it seems his apology has upset members of the Aryan Nation, who want to teach Chapman a lesson for bowing to pressure and apologising to African-Americans.
Niger Innis, a spokesman for the Congress Of Racial Equality, tells U.S.
tabloid the Globe that he has discovered the white supremacists want the bounty hunter dead - and they’re offering $75,000 (GBP37,500) to anyone who’ll carry out the job.
Innis tells the publication, "Chapman told me himself that there was a bounty on his head from the white Aryan Nations.
"They don’t believe he is demonstrating enough white pride… Chapman’s not only upset black America with his ugly taped talk, he’s now drawn the wrath of the white supremacists too."
