WOOD IGNORES RICHARDS ACCIDENT IN NEW BOOK
RON WOOD left out details of bandmate KEITH RICHARDS’ near-fatal 2006 fall in Fiji from his new autobiography - because he didn’t feel it was his tale to tell.
Wood was with Richards when the guitarist fell from a tree, seriously injuring his head, but intentionally left the freak accident out of his tome, Ronnie.
Wood says, "I figured that’s his thing and I figured if he’s doing a book, he can tell us about that. It’s none of my business.
"I just happened to be standing nearby with my back to him when I heard a thump… It was more complicated than anyone realised… He should be the one to tell that story."
