ROBBIE WILLIAMS DISTRAUGHT AT INTERNET ATTACKS
British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS is devastated by the constant criticism he reads about himself on the internet.
The Angels hitmaker - who is currently living in Los Angeles - finds it increasingly difficult to cope with such attacks and lacks the support of his close family and friends needed to overcome such distress.
Now pals of the 33-year-old, who has sought treatment for depression and drug addiction in the past, fear for his fragile mental state.
Friend and actor Sean Maguire tells British magazine Closer, "We confide in each other. Robbie was telling me he read an Internet article entitled ‘Why I hate Robbie Williams and he should die.’ Rob’s human and takes criticism to heart. People forget he hasn’t got a force field around him. "He provides a lot of entertainment for people, but he gets slashed to bits.
To hear that from someone I care about is heartbreaking. He’s such a sweet, decent lad."
