Sexy actress JESSICA ALBA insists finding love is just as hard for her as it is for her non-celebrity friends.
Alba, regularly named as the most desirable woman in Hollywood, admits she is having difficulty in the love department since splitting from long-term boyfriend Cash Warren earlier this year (07).
She says, "I think it’s probably the same as it is for anyone else.
"All my girlfriends who aren’t actresses have the same problems finding a dude as anyone in Hollywood. Guys are a headache, but girls are headaches too.

British funnyman ROWAN ATKINSON warns the U.K. government’s plans to outlaw homophobic bullying will destroy comedy.
The Mr Bean comedian fears the proposed law, intended to make homophobic slurs a criminal offence, will lead to comedians being penalised for cracking gay jokes.
He says the law has "serious implications for freedom of speech, humour and creative expression".

"(Shevell)’s my second cousin. Her mother, who died, was my first cousin. And I have been very close to this young woman. …She’s separated from her husband, who’s a nice man. The marriage wasn’t going well, and they’re separated.
"I knew that there was someone, but she’s very discreet." Shevell is the 47-year-old wife of New York Port Authority commissioner Bruce Blakeman, but the couple split earlier this year (07).
McCartney has been separated from Mills since May 2006, but is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with the ex-model.

Hollywood actress MERYL STREEP did not think she was sexy enough for her role in OUT OF AFRICA - so displayed her cleavage in an attempt to win over director SYDNEY POLLACK.
Streep feared her acting abilities were not enough to land the role of author Karen Blixon the 1985 film, so resorted to a padded bra and low-cut top to help boost her chances.
She says, "I went to see the director, Sydney Pollack. I heard a whisper that he didn’t think I was sexy enough for the part, so I went out and got a padded bra and a dreadful frilly low-cut blouse. I got the part.

Actress JULIA ROBERTS knew she was destined to marry DANNY MODER from the moment they met - because her body told her so.

An advertisement featuring a bikini-clad BEYONCE KNOWLES has angered locals in Las Vegas, after they complained the billboard was "obscene".
The R&B beauty appears on an advert for the city’s KWNZ radio station, but residents in Sin City are petitioning to have the raunchy image taken down.
Resident Pamela Keeney says, "It’s obscene. I have my two little grandkids coming over here, and they don’t need to be seeing that. You can change the channel on the TV but you can’t change that." But KWNZ has stood by the billboard and has received the backing of city spokesman Chris Good.
Scott Seidenstricker, manager of KWNZ, says, "The billboards were taken from publicity shots and this is the way those people perform. So to show them in a jogging suit probably wouldn’t be the right thing." Good adds, "It complies with all the locational criteria that are set out in our (advertising) code (of conduct)."

British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS is devastated by the constant criticism he reads about himself on the internet.
The Angels hitmaker - who is currently living in Los Angeles - finds it increasingly difficult to cope with such attacks and lacks the support of his close family and friends needed to overcome such distress.
Now pals of the 33-year-old, who has sought treatment for depression and drug addiction in the past, fear for his fragile mental state.
Friend and actor Sean Maguire tells British magazine Closer, "We confide in each other. Robbie was telling me he read an Internet article entitled ‘Why I hate Robbie Williams and he should die.’ Rob’s human and takes criticism to heart. People forget he hasn’t got a force field around him. "He provides a lot of entertainment for people, but he gets slashed to bits.
To hear that from someone I care about is heartbreaking. He’s such a sweet, decent lad."

Actress JANE SEYMOUR is shunning the limelight to launch her dream career - as an artist.
The 56-year-old took up painting in the 1990s and has sold 80 pieces of her work since putting the creations on sale last month (Oct07).
And Seymour insists the demand for her work has given her the encouragement to pursue a career as an artist.

WYCLEF JEAN has launched a number of youth programmes in his native Haiti, in an effort to encourage "change" in the Caribbean nation.
The Fugees rapper, 35, set up the projects via his charity Yele Haiti, which will fund the building of new classrooms, counseling for jailed gang members and establish a youth scholarship and soccer programme.
He says, "If you want to change a country, unfortunately, you’re not going to be able to help 8 million people at one time.
"But if you can get one or two or three and start to make that change, that will make the difference." Jean was made a roving ambassador of the country in January (07) to help improve Haiti’s image abroad.

Veteran singer/actor ROBERT GOULET’s life was remembered at a celebrity-packed funeral in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday (09Nov07).
Tony Bennett, Debbie Reynolds, Phyllis McGuire and comedian Sarah Silverman and her chat show host boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel were among the mourners who filled up more than half of the 2,500-seat Shrine Of The Most Holy Redeemer church.
The funeral service featured a performance of the Broadway star’s song If Ever I Would Leave You and readings of several farewell poems he wrote before he died from lung disease on 30 October (07) in Los Angeles.
One poem said: "There will be sadness and some tears, but shared memories will evoke laughter and that will make me happy. They should discern a chortle from my urn! My epitaph shall read: ‘He left them smiling.’" Goulet performed for the last time in Syracuse, New York, on 20 September (07), where he staged his one-man show A Man And His Music, complete with a 15-piece orchestra.

Rapper SHAWN ‘JAY-Z’ CARTER led the tributes to KANYE WEST’s mother on Sunday night (11Nov07), by dedicating his New York gig to the late DR. DONDA WEST.
The 99 Problems hitmaker marked the end of his concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom with a moment of silence for the 58-year-old, who died on Saturday (10Nov07) after suffering complications from cosmetic surgery.
During his encore, Jay-Z told the crowd: "Let’s get serious for a minute.
This show is dedicated to Kanye West who had a death in the family. We got you, Kanye. Stay strong." Hip-hop star Rhymefest - who co-wrote the hit Jesus Walks with longtime pal Kanye - has also paid his respects to the Gold Digger star’s mother, praising Dr. West for her caring nature.
He says, "She was a mother to everybody… We all came in the crib and she fed us when we had nothin’, when there was no record deals. She brought us in.
She was a mother for a community, and a mother for one of Chicago’s greatest heroes." And Rhymefest admits West is still struggling to come to terms with his sudden loss.
He says, "I don’t think it really hit him yet, but I’m asking Chicago to pray and send your prayers and your love out to my brother and to his family."

AMY WINEHOUSE’s husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL has had his trial for a charge of grievous bodily harm postponed - following his arrest over fresh allegations.
The troubled star’s husband grinned throughout his short hearing on Monday (12Nov07) in London, when he was due to stand trial for assaulting barman James King.
But new allegations that Fielder-Civil attempted to fix the outcome by offering King $400,000 (£200,000) and a free holiday to withdraw his statement has resulted in it being delayed until 23 November (07).
On hearing the evidence against Fielder-Civil, Judge Radford at Snaresbrook Crown Court, in north east London, said the trial "clearly can’t go ahead today".
Fielder-Civil has been remanded in custody on "technical" bail, noting that he remains in jail on the charge of perverting the course of justice.
Winehouse did not attend the hearing, but Fielder-Civil blew kisses to his mother and mouthed "I’m all right" and "I love you" as she wept in the public gallery.
It is reported the Back To Black singer, 24, is deeply distressed after her 25-year-old husband was remanded in London’s Pentonville Prison hospital on Friday (09Nov07).
A prison inmate tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "He (Fielder-Civil) is crying non-stop, but he’s crying for Amy. He’s more concerned about her than for his own safety. He misses her terribly." Fielder-Civil is accused along with another man, Michael Brown, of assaulting King in June last year (06). He will reappear at the same court later this month (23Nov07) for a preliminary hearing on both charges of grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.

Singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS is set to record part of his next album in an ancient Egyptian pyramid.
The Millennium singer will take advantage of the acoustics in the 4,500 year old Great Pyramid of Giza and is preparing to fly out to Cairo early next month (Dec07), according to reports.
A source says, "Robbie has heard the chamber of the Great Pyramid has the best acoustics in the world.
"He’s going to go and sing a few notes in there to see if the sound is as impressive as expected." The former Take That star is working on the new album in Los Angeles with producer Mark Ronson and his old songwriting partner, Guy Chambers.

KEIRA KNIGHTLEY envies fellow actress SIENNA MILLER’s confrontational nature towards aggressive paparazzi.
The two stars were constantly hassled by paparazzi while on the set of their new movie The Edge of Love earlier this year (07) - but while Knightley was too sensitive to challenge the snappers, her co-star bravely returned their insults.

BRITNEY SPEARS has denied allegations of substance abuse after testing positive in a court-ordered drug test, insisting the results only show the medication she has been prescribed by doctors.
The troubled pop star, 25, must undergo mandatory drug and alcohol tests as part of an earlier court order relating to her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
But Spears has been accused of skipping eight of out 14 requests in recent weeks, and was recently (08Nov07) chastised by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon for not making herself readily available for the tests.
And there’s more bad news for Spears, after website TMZ.com claimed one of her test results came back positive last week (ends09Nov07).
But pals insist Spears is innocent of any illegal drug allegations.
A source close to the star says, "The only thing that comes on the results are the prescriptions, that the court doctor prescribed.
"There has been no illegal drugs or even alcohol in any of the test results."

DAVID TENNANT will quit hit British TV show DOCTOR WHO in a bid to pursue a career in Hollywood.
Tennant, 36, who made his first outing as the infamous Time Lord in December 2005, will allegedly quit the show next year (08).
According to reports, he will be replaced by John Simm, 35, star of 1999 cult British film Human Traffic.
A source tells British newspaper News Of The World, "John (Simm) is absolutely over the moon.
"He’s got a six-year-old son who is a massive Doctor Who fan and he can’t believe his dad is going to get to fly the Tardis at work." And Simm is no stranger to the sci-fi series - he already starred in three episodes of the show earlier this year (07), as Doctor Who’s nemesis, The Master.

French President NICOLAS SARKOZY has led tributes to late U.S. author NORMAN MAILER.
Sarkozy praised Mailer and claimed the world of literature was at loss following the death of the novelist on Saturday (10Nov07).
He says, "It is a giant of American literature who has disappeared." Mailer, who studied at the Sarbonne in Paris, died of acute kidney failure following lung surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York.
