ACTRESS DAY DIES
Veteran actress LARAINE DAY has died at the age of 87.
Day, best known for her role in the Dr. Kildare movies of the 1940s, passed away on Saturday (10Nov07) at her daughter Gigi Bell’s Utah home.
Day is also remembered for her appearance in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1940 film Foreign Correspondent, and she starred alongside Cary Grant, Robert Mitchum, John Wayne, Spencer Tracy and Kirk Douglas in other movies.
Her last role was in 1960 movie The 3rd Voice.
Day is survived by three daughters, a son, a twin brother and numerous grandchildren.
