Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly are the proud parents of twins.
The couple, who used a surrogate mother, welcomed a baby boy and girl into the world on Thursday morning (08.11.07) in Santa Monica, California.
Thomas Boone was born first at 8.26am weighing a healthy 6lb 12oz, while his sister Zoe Grace arrived just two minutes later weighing 5lb 9oz.
The excited parents released a statement, saying: ‘God has definitely blessed us.’ Dennis, 53, and Kimberly, 35, have refused to reveal the identity of the surrogate mother.
The couple - who were married on July 4, 2004 - have confirmed they are the twins’ biological parents.
Texas real estate agent Kimberley was introduced to ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ star through a mutual friend in March 2003.
The actor already has a 15-year-old son, Jack Henry, with his actress ex-wife Meg Ryan. The couple divorced after 10 years in 2001.
Dennis - whose screen credits include ‘The Big Easy’, ‘The Rookie’ and ‘Inner Space’ - was also married to actress P.J. Soles between 1978 and 1983.
