WINEHOUSE GRANTED U.S. WORK VISA
AMY WINEHOUSE has finally been granted a U.S. work visa - after having her initial application denied earlier this week (05Nov07).
The singer had her first request turned down on Monday, when she was seen entering the American Embassy in London’s Grosvenor Square dressed smartly for a formal interview.
But it proved second time lucky for Winehouse after she succeeded in getting the visa on Thursday (08Nov07).
She was previously denied the pass after she and husband Blake Fielder-Civil were arrested for marijuana possession in Norway last month (Oct07).
And Winehouse could be looking to make her move more permanent - she is currently looking for a property in Miami, Florida, according to reports.
