COSTELLO BLASTS U.K. MUSIC FANS
Rocker ELVIS COSTELLO has blasted his native Britain for its poor taste in music - and has vowed never to perform in the country again.
The singer, who has not lived in the U.K. for 25 years, criticised music fans for failing to recognise good talent.
He says, "I don’t care if I ever play in England again. I don’t get along with it. We lost touch. I don’t dig it, (the fans) don’t dig me.
"A lots of good new bands still come out of England but I just don’t feel a part of it. British music fans do not have the same attitude to age as they do in America. (LJ/WNTEX/JC) WENN - SECOND - HOLLYWOOD, SHOWBIZ & PEOPLE NEWS - 08 NOVEMBER 2007
