BECKER SEEKS CUSTODY OF DAUGHTER
Tennis ace BORIS BECKER has launched a legal bid for custody of his seven-year-old daughter ANNA.
The former world number one was in London Family Court on Wednesday (07Nov07) for a six-hour hearing with Anna’s mother, Angela Ermokowa.
Although no details of the hearing were available as WENN went to press, Becker was reportedly more than happy with the outcome.
As he left the court, he told reporters, "Now I can see my daughter on a regular basis." Becker, who is also the father of two boys with Barbara Feltus, infamously conceived Anna during a brief tryst with Ermokowa in the cupboard of a London restaurant in 1999. In 2001, a DNA test confirmed his paternity.
In an interview with German magazine Stern, published on Thursday (08Nov07), Becker says, "I have a custody order for my two boys, but not unfortunately for my daughter. Believe me, I will fight for the right.
"It is not something I am doing for publicity, it is something I want to do for the Becker family. My daughter deserves to see her brothers and her father regularly."
