T.I. APPLIES FOR THANKSGIVING EXCEPTION TO HOUSE ARREST RULE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:21 pm

Rapper T.I. has appealed to a U.S. judge to issue more lenient regulations in relation to his house arrest for illegal weapons charges - because he wants to spend Thanksgiving with his family.
The Bring ‘Em Out star - real name Clifford Harris Jr. - has pleaded his innocence after he was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia in October (07) by federal agents who claim he took possession of three machine guns and two silencers that a bodyguard purchased on his behalf.
He was later released from jail on the condition that he remains at home in Henry County, under 24-hour surveillance, with no more than three visitors at any one time.
But Harris wants to make Thanksgiving Day (22Nov07) an exception to the rule, and filed a motion on Tuesday (06Nov07) to ask for a temporary waiver.
If his request is granted, Harris will only be allowed to have guests over between 9am and 6.30pm. He will also have to pay for his own additional security for the dinner guests and will not be allowed to serve alcohol.
