MEXICAN STARS UNITE FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:09 am

Mexican stars REYLI and BENNY IBARRA are to team up to raise cash for flood victims in Tabasco.
The singers and pop group Camila have created Cantando por Tabasco (Singing for Tabasco) - a campaign to raise cash for those hit hardest by the recent natural disaster.
Reyli will donate the profits from his 22 November (07) concert to the flood victims, and he asked pal Ibarra to help him.
Ibarra has agreed to hand over cash from an upcoming show to the cause.
Reyli admits he was inspired to do something after fellow Mexican Alejandro Fernandez gave all the profits from his concert in Guadalajara last week (ends02Nov07) to those affected by the floods.
He tells PeopleenEspanol.com, "Alejandroo Fernandez started something great when he donated; that motivated us. Camila, Benny, Alejandro and I are going to manage a bank account.
"On November 30th we’ll disclose how much has been collected and what we will use the funds for." But the famous friends have ruled out scheduling a benefit concert featuring all of them.
Reyli adds, "That would be expensive and less profitable for the people of Tabasco."
