Pop punk AVRIL LAVIGNE launched her 2008 North American tour with a show at Los Angeles’ fabled Whisky A Go-Go by announcing she’ll be heading out on her own this time.
The newlywed Complicated singer told fans and media her days of joining her all-male crew on the tour bus are over because she no longer feels like "a tomboy".
Instead, Lavigne will be hitting the road next year (08) in a specially-designed bus just for her.
She said, "I’m a bit more girly now."
