ADAMARI LOPEZ’S MOTHER IN FAKE ID SCANDAL
Puerto Rican actress ADAMARI LOPEZ’s mother is reportedly involved in a scandal to produce fake identification cards for aspiring doctors.
Vidalina Torres Montalvo has so far refused to comment on her alleged role in the scheme, and 36-year-old Lopez - who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 - is avoiding all talk of the situation amid fears the stress will have an adverse affect on her recovery.
The screen-star’s brother, Dr. Adalberto Lopez, fears the allegations will also have a negative effects on the health of his elderly mother.
He says, "Adamari prefers not to talk about the issue because she’s recovering from an illness (cancer). (It) would set her back.
"My mother is (also) in delicate health, and this whole problem is affecting her. We’ve tried to keep her as happy as possible… so that she doesn’t think about the situation."
