BEYONCE HONOURED TWICE AT VH1 SOUL VIBE AWARDS
R&B superstar BEYONCE KNOWLES has been honoured at the inaugural VH1 Soul Presents: VIBE Awards Special, taking home two of the four prizes she was nominated for.
The Crazy In Love beauty was awarded the gong for R&B Artist of the Year, while her distinctive fashion sense was recognised with the VStyle Award.
But Knowles’ Irreplaceable lost out on the Song Of The Year title to T-Pain’s Buy U A Drank, and Rihanna’s Umbrella won the Video of the Year accolade, ahead of the former Destiny’s Child star’s Get Me Bodied.
Other winners include Timbaland (Producer of the Year), Robin Thicke (Breakthrough Artist of the Year), and Lil’ Wayne, who was awarded Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, beating off stiff competition from Jay-Z and T.I.
The VH1 Soul Presents: VIBE Awards is a special edition of the annual Vibe Awards and will be presented by rapper/actress Eve on 14 November (07).
