Actress SARAH JESSICA PARKER has dismissed reports she is to follow in ANGELINA JOLIE’s footsteps by adopting a child, insisting she would not be able to cope with the extra demand on her busy work schedule.
The Sex and the City star, 42, recently expressed her fears at being too old to have a second child with husband Matthew Broderick - but she has ruled out adoption.
She says, "It would be wonderful for James (her five-year-old son) to have siblings, but I am no Angelina Jolie. I think what she and others are doing is amazing, I really do, but I don’t think I could cope with so many kids."

SARAH JESSICA PARKER has laughed off the title of Unsexiest Woman Alive, insisting she is unfazed by what critics have to say about her looks.
The Sex and the City star, 42, was named alongside singers Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears and Madonna, and Grey’s Anatomy star Sandra Oh in the new poll by Maxim magazine last month (Oct07).
But Parker claims she isn’t bothered by the scathing survey.
She says, "What they don’t know is that one day I’ll wake up fat. But I’ll still be happy, just like I am now.
"I believe in the old ’sticks and stones’ philosophy, so frankly their words don’t come close to hurting. And it does not bother me in the least if people don’t think I’m sexy. "I don’t think I am, either." Parker is married to the Tony Award-winning actor Matthew Broderick and they have a five-year-old son, James.

KEVIN FEDERLINE is to reveal all about his troubled ex-wife BRITNEY SPEARS in a TV interview with chatshow queen OPRAH WINFREY.
Federline is expected to make an appearance on U.S. show Oprah early next year (08), for what is promised to be an explosive interview detailing the reasons behind the breakdown of his marriage to the pop superstar and their bitter custody battle for sons Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.
A source close to Federline tells British newspaper the News of the World, "He wants to give his side and show the world he is a good father and concerned ex-husband. It’s a huge step but he could turn around the public’s view that he was the reason behind Britney’s meltdown." Spears and Federline split in November 2006.

SIR PAUL McCARTNEY’s cousin has slammed his estranged wife HEATHER MILLS for accusing the former BEATLE of failing to give enough to charity.
Mills, who split from McCartney in May 2006, told a U.S. interviewer on Thursday (01Nov07) of her amazement that McCartney didn’t hand over more of his estimated $1 billion (£500 million) fortune to the needy.
She said: "I was passionate about the power that Paul had; he could have done more for charity. How could anybody have that kind of money and not do more for charity?" But British comedienne Kate Robbins claims Mills’ accusations are inaccurate, because the singer doesn’t like to publicise his charity work.
She says, "She’s a liar. If you knew how much he gives to different charities you would be gobsmacked."

Tough guy actor RUSSELL CROWE loves shopping so much he’s convinced he has retail therapy "issues".
The Gladiator star likes nothing better than hitting stores with his wife Danielle Spencer and selecting clothing items for her to try on.
He tells American magazine Men’s Journal, "I love going shopping. I have a black belt in it. My wife really appreciates that in me.
"Whatever you need, mate, I’ll get it. I can do the supermarket in six minutes. I can pick out the first nine things my wife would like to try on.
"I’m not bragging - it’s fact. I have retail therapy issues. But I am cool with that. I shop with a big smile on my face."

PARIS HILTON spent as much as four hours a day in the make-up chair so she could look like a trampy vamp for her new film REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA.
The socialite shows off her singing and acting skills in the quirky musical, which is scheduled to hit cinemas next spring (08) - and she always learned patience.
She says, "(My character) just changes her look everyday. Throughout the film, I have different noses, different eyes, different hair." Hilton, who plays the ageing daughter of a ruthless cosmetic surgery boss, also dresses completely differently for the film, wearing shiny black latex and prosthetics.
She adds, "I think people are going to be very surprised when they see this movie."

Actress CATE BLANCHETT has put a stop to reports speculating about her expanding waistline - she’s announced she is expecting her third child.
The Oscar winner, 38, first sparked pregnancy rumours in October (07), when she stepped out to promote her latest film Elizabeth: The Golden Age in Rome, Italy, sporting a sexy new fuller figure.

HEATHER MILLS has threatened to release a tape recording of SIR PAUL McCARTNEY and his designer daughter STELLA mocking her for having a prosthetic leg.
Mills, who lost her left leg in 1993 when she was hit by a police motorcycle, is alleged to have recorded the telephone conversation between the pair last year (06) after bugging the phone line at the former Beatle’s U.K. country estate in Peasmarsh, East Sussex.
And when the ex-model confronted McCartney about the tape, he is said to have apologised immediately.
A close friend of Mills tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "What she says she heard Sir Paul say on the tape about her amputated leg left her incandescent with rage.
"She says he used an insulting slang word about disabled people. That he and Stella - her arch-enemy - had a laugh about it. Heather was - and still is seething about it." The tape recording is one of many Mills has vowed to make public if her divorce battle with the singer turns nasty.

THE X FACTOR finalist EMILY NAKANDA has quit the British TV talent show after images emerged of her attacking a teenage girl. The 15-year-old Londoner, who is one of two remaining hopefuls being mentored by The X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne, is seen putting a blonde girl in a headlock in the mobile phone video. It is the second violent video to have emerged this week - Nakanda also appeared in a video clip where she threatened to gouge out a boy’s eyes with a knife. A spokesman for the show says, "In response to the stories in the papers this week regarding Emily Nakanda, we have conducted our own investigations into the matter and we can confirm that she has chosen to withdraw herself from the competition with immediate effect."

SIR CLIFF RICHARD has promised fans he will never turn his back on music because he wants to continue to prove his critics wrong.
The veteran pop star has enjoyed a career spanning over five decades and recently announced plans to follow in Radiohead’s footsteps and release his new album as a digital download.
And Richard is defiant his music will stand the test of time, despite the changes in modern technology - as much as his critics wish he would just retire.
He says, "As artists, we face a stark choice. We either keep one step ahead of the technology or we throw up our hands and quit. Personally, I’m not for quitting! "The buzz I get from performing to a live audience is just as real and exciting as it ever was - and hopefully I’ve a few years left in me yet.
"I know a lot of people think I’m a no-no as a musical entity, but when they’re writing textbooks I will have to be in there. People will hate it but I will have to be there.
"I’ve had an average of three hits a year during my career."

Singer JOJO is set to poke fun at her wildchild pop peers by playing a heavy-drinking young starlet in a new TV movie.
The teen sensation will play a struggling star in True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, which will air in 2008 on America’s Lifetime network.
Former child star Valerie Bertinelli, who will play JoJo’s mum in the film, says, "Here’s this beautiful young starlet, who drinks too much and ends up in rehab. That’s so unusual. Where did that come from?"

A Missouri museum famous for storing items to support conspiracy theories that ELVIS PRESLEY is alive is to close.
Bill Beeny, the proprietor of the Elvis is Alive Museum, is selling off the artifacts he has treasured for the past 17 years on auction website eBay.com.
Beeny, a Baptist minister, is turning his attention to charity work.

Soul star SEAL endured regular beatings from his violent father throughout his childhood - but is grateful to his dad for showing him how not to behave as a parent.
The Kiss from a Rose singer - who has two sons and an adopted daughter with his supermodel wife Heidi Klum - has learned to forgive his father for his abusive ways and insists his difficult upbringing has taught him a valuable lesson.
He says, "My dad was a troubled soul, but I understand why he was like that.
He couldn’t break out of a vicious cycle: his father, my grandad, was also a nasty piece of work. And maybe dad hated the fact that I was a newer, younger, version of him.
"I still describe my father as a great man, because he gave me the gift of seeing everything I shouldn’t do as a father."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA has finally confirmed reports she is expecting a baby with husband JORDAN BRATMAN.
The Beautiful singer has previously refused to comment on the status of her bulging belly, despite her father Fausto Aguilera and her pal Paris Hilton letting slip about the 26-year-old’s happy news earlier this year (07).
The couple has also been spotted shopping at baby boutiques in Los Angeles on numerous occasions in recent weeks.
But Aguilera, 26, has now spoken out for the first time about her excitement at impending motherhood, revealing to U.S. magazine Glamour that she is expecting the tot in the New Year (08).
When asked about her New Year’s resolutions for 2008, Aguilera says, "That’ll be about the time I enter into mommyhood, so… I’m hoping to have started a beautiful family with my husband!" And music executive Bratman is delighted at the prospect of becoming a father.
