PORTMAN TO DIRECT OZ ADAPTATION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:33 pm

NATALIE PORTMAN is set to make her feature film directorial debut by taking charge of a planned film adaptation of Israeli novelist AMOS OZ’s A TALE OF LOVE & DARKNESS.
The actress, who was born in Israel, bought the rights to the movie through her Handsomecharlie Films company - and the venture is likely to be her first in a new two-year production deal with Participant Productions.
Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s writer mother Naomi Foner is in negotiations to pen the screenplay for A Tale of Love & Darkness.
