GILLESPIE SELLS NAMED ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR
THE FEELING frontman DAN GILLESPIE SELLS has been named Entertainer Of The Year at the second annual Stonewall Awards.
The British singer beat off competition from Rufus Wainright and rapper Mz Fontaine to land the award at Thursday’s (01Nov07) ceremony, organised by the gay rights charity.
Other winners included writer Val McDermid, who won Writer Of The Year, and U.K. soap opera Hollyoaks, which was praised for its treatment of gay storylines.
