SHEEN DELIVERS FINAL BLOW TO RICHARDS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:33 pm

Actor CHARLIE SHEEN has hit out at ex-wife DENISE RICHARDS one last time as their bitter custody battle comes to an end, calling her efforts to discredit him as a father a "ridiculous and unnecessary circus".
The divorced couple ended their public custody feud after agreeing to put their young daughters into therapy.
They have spent months fighting over custody arrangements for daughters Sam, three, and Lola, two, but have now resolved all matters during a six-hour mediation on 23 October (07).
But Sheen admits he’s still bitter about the 18-month ordeal, in which he was accused of surfing the internet for porn and sharing a bed with his fiancee and his daughters.
He snipes, "I wasn’t going to say anything, but she continues to reveal what type of person and parent she is through her behaviour."

SPEARS DOUBLES UP ON UNDERWOOD, FACES EAGLES CHALLENGE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:33 pm

BRITNEY SPEARS is well on course to score a number one with her comeback album after selling 124,000 copies of BLACKOUT on release day.
Released on Wednesday (31Oct07), the first-day estimates suggest Spears’ sales have almost doubled those for country singer Carrie Underwood’s Carnival Ride, which debuted at number one on Wednesday (31Oct07).
Ironically, both stars have been romantically linked to American football hunk Tony Romo - Underwood dated him earlier this year (07), while Spears was spotted sitting on his lap at a recent Los Angeles party.
Chart experts at Spears’ label Zomba estimate Blackout will debut with 330,000-plus sales, which should give her next week’s number one.
The only act that could spoil Spears’ big comeback is rock veterans the Eagles.
If bosses at retail chain Wal-Mart choose to report sales of its exclusive Eagles album, Long Road Out Of Eden, the old-timers could find themselves beating Spears to number one.
The rock group’s manager Irving Azoff tells Billboard.com, "If the Eagles were SoundScanning (on the official sales chart) this week, even though it’s only available at one retailer, Britney wouldn’t be number one."

MILLS: ‘STELLA WRECKED MY MARRIAGE’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:32 pm

HEATHER MILLS has openly blamed STELLA McCARTNEY for the breakdown of her marriage to the designer’s father in an explosive new U.S. TV interview.
The glamour model-turned-activist, who is currently embroiled in a divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney, snapped during an appearance on U.K. show GMTV on Wednesday (31Oct07) and she followed up her headline-grabbing rant with a series of angry interviews in America on Thursday (01Nov07).
After blasting her estranged husband for not supporting her in her ongoing battle with the British media on breakfast show Today, Mills turned on the former Beatle’s daughter on news show Extra.
She raged, "Every single week Stella tried to break up our marriage. She was so jealous.
"Stella wasn’t interested in her dad’s happiness. I can’t protect her any longer. She’s done some evil, evil things." Mills reveals she was hurt when she discovered Stella had scratched out her face in a photograph when they were "in a psychiatric session together".
And the former model reveals she has evidence she has gathered against the "untouchable" McCartney family that she’ll make public if her divorce battle turns nasty.
She added, "It’s a very difficult thing but, if it’s going to carry on, then I’m going to have to tell all the truth."

LOHAN’S BODYGUARD ON THE HUNT FOR KICKING PAPARAZZO

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:30 pm

LINDSAY LOHAN’s new tough-guy bodyguard is on the hunt for a pushy photographer who kicked the actress during a Halloween (31Oct07) fracas in an underground parking garage.
The Mean Girl star’s mean guy, an ex-Israeli Army soldier, chased away the kicker after he attacked Lohan as she left a Beverly Hills restaurant - and then asked other snappers to identify the man.
When they couldn’t, the bodyguard asked one to find out who the guy was and tell him, "I want to meet him personally." The mystery bodyguard has been by Lohan’s side for weeks and has established a fearsome reputation among the paparazzi regulars who follow the actress all over Los Angeles.
As he barged his way through the paparazzi army waiting for his boss, he declared, "Everyone in my way is gonna be pushed." But he added to Lohan’s misery as he accidentally closed the door of her black SUV on her injured leg, prompting the actress to yelp.
Seconds before, Lohan cried, "Ow, I got kicked in the leg," after her bizarre attack.
Once she was safely in the car, the actress’ minder stormed off after the kicking cameraman, fuming, "Who was that?"

MILLS: ‘McCARTNEY SHOULD DONATE MORE TO CHARITY’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:30 pm

SIR PAUL McCARTNEY and HEATHER MILLS spent much of their four-year marriage arguing about why the former BEATLE didn’t donate more of his millions to charity.
Mills, who split with McCartney in May, 2006 insists she was amazed her estranged husband didn’t hand over more of his estimated $1 billion (£500 million) fortune to the needy.
She says, "I was passionate about the power that Paul had; he could have done more for charity. Those are the things we argued about.
"How could anybody have that kind of money and not do more for charity? That’s what we argued about all the time."

MENDES HAS FOUR CAR ACCIDENTS IN A DAY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:27 pm

Actress EVA MENDES is such a bad driver she recently crashed her car four times in a day.
To make matters worse, the accident-prone Training Day star had just bought her environmentally friendly car an hour before the first mishap.
She says, "I bought a Lexus Hybrid, so I felt very environmentally responsible. When I got it, I drove it home and I was all excited but I just didn’t pull in (to my garage) enough, so the garage door hit the back of the car (as it came down).
"I don’t count that as an accident, but it did leave a bump and a scratch, and I was like, `Oh, a new car. Fine.’ I kinda forgot about it.
"So later on I was pulling out and… I back up into a moving truck. This was the same day. This one was a little more (damaging) than the garage door. I think, ‘I have to take the car in (to be repaired).’ "So I’m driving down the hill and there’s another moving truck. I was getting a little antsy at this point. I was waiting for awhile because I live in a very narrow street. I thought, `I’m going to manoeuvre my way around this.’ And the left side now has been hit. I was totally embarrassed because these guys were looking at me like, `Dude, what’s she doing?’ "So I took the car in and… they gave me a rental car. The next day I have my rental car and I’m going down my hill and there’s a monster truck heading the opposite way. And this time it was not my fault. I veered to the right, as I should have, and he did not veer to his left. He just came right at me and smashed into me. My whole front is caved in, but he was really sweet and admitted fault right away.
"But basically I shouldn’t be on the road."

ANGEL & GELLER’S SHOW TURNS UGLY AS ILLUSIONISTS CLASH

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:26 pm

A Halloween night (31Oct07) episode of U.S. reality series PHENOMENON turned scary when show judge CRISS ANGEL was attacked by a disgruntled contestant.
Wannabe illusionist Jim Callahan took offence to Angel’s criticisms after he performed a mindbending trick during the live taping of the show and "went after" the Mind Freak star, according to witnesses.
One bystander tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "Criss jumped out of his chair and was ready to battle it out." One insider reveals Callahan became upset when Angel called his act "comical" and then challenged the wannabe and fellow judge, professional mindbender Uri Geller to guess what was in an envelope he retrieved from his jacket pocket.
Angel said, "I will give you a million dollars of my personal money right now if either one of you can tell me specific details of what’s in here right now." Angry Callahan fumed, "I’ll tell you what I will tell you. I find you an ideological bigot," before stepping towards Angel.
Geller and show host Tim Vincent had to step in between the two men to prevent them from coming to blows.
Producers then cut to a commercial break as security stepped in to break up the fight.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:24 pm

U.S. TV personality MARIO LOPEZ is laughing off internet reports he has fathered a child with BRITNEY SPEARS, but feels bad for his pop star pal, who has to put up with the claims.

Lopez claims he has never bedded Spears, adding, "I hung out with Britney a couple times and she’s the nicest person. She’s really misunderstood.
"The young girl can’t say hi to someone without being linked to them, but there’s no way (she’s pregnant with my child). It’s not true.
"My name has been linked to a few headlines of late. This particular headline with Britney and the baby, it is laughable, but, at the same time, the poor girl has to deal with this." Meanwhile, Spears and her aides are refusing to comment on tabloid stories she’s pregnant.
