Academy award-nominated actress LAURA LINNEY is worried about her upcoming role as U.S. president John Adams’ wife - because she is ignorant about American history.
Linney will play Abigail Adams in a TV series about the president’s second wife - but knows little about the country in which she carved out her career.
She says, "History should be taught again to adults as it’s wasted on the youth. There was an embarrassingly large amount of American history that I didn’t know about."
