ALEC BALDWIN LET OFF SPEEDING FINE BECAUSE COP THOUGHT HE WAS BILLY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:48 am

Actor ALEC BALDWIN was once let off a speeding ticket by a traffic cop because the officer thought he was his brother BILLY.
The Cooler star was so upset at being mistaken for his younger sibling, he insists he would have preferred to pay the fine.
Billy says, "He got pulled over one time for speeding on the 101 (freeway) and he was doing 85 - 30 or 40 miles per hour over the limit. He could have got locked up for it. And he called me right when the cop let him go.
"The cop handed him back his licence and said, `I should have given you a ticket there Mr. Baldwin, but seeing as you were so great in Backdraft, I’m going to let you go.’ My brother snapped the frigging licence away from the guy and said, `I’d rather have gotten a ticket.’ "He called me right away and said, `I’d rather have been put away than confused with you.’"
