INQUEST INTO DEATH OF ANNA NICOLE’S SON DELAYED
The inquest into the death of ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s son DANIEL has been postponed because a tropical storm is approaching the Bahamas.
The hearing was due to have begun in Nassau on Tuesday (30Oct07), but has now been rescheduled for 19 November (07) over fears Tropical Storm Noel could wreak havoc in the Caribbean.
Daniel Smith died in September, 2006. The 20-year-old was found to have a number of drugs in his bloodstream by a private autopsy - but an official inquest into the cause of his death has been delayed by Bahamas authorities.
As previously reported, Bahamas Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez has revealed he expects more than 35 witnesses to give evidence, including Anna Nicole Smith’s former companion and lawyer Howard K. Stern.
