Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:02 am

Officials at a museum dedicated to legendary rock festival Woodstock have vowed to open the centre’s doors as planned next year (08) - despite the U.S.
government having withdrawn $1 million (£500,000) in funding.
The Woodstock museum is officially known as the Museum At Bethel Woods Bethel is the town in upstate New York where the infamous three-day hippie music event took place in 1969.
Last week (ends26Oct07), federal politicians voted to pull the $1 million in funding for the museum that had been obtained by Democratic Senators Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer.
Despite the setback, Bethel still plans to commemorate its most famous moment.
Bethel Woods Centre For The Arts spokeswoman Ellyn Solis says, "Our plans haven’t changed."
