KNIGHT STYLED BY MUM
Soul star GLADYS KNIGHT insists she was the original BEYONCE - because her mother used to design her stage outfits.
The former Destiny’s Child star has always been styled by her mum Tina, and now the pair have their own fashion line, House of Dereon.
Knight and her mother never went so far as to launch their own clothing, but the Midnight Train To Georgia singer was always thrilled with her mother’s outfits.
She says, "My mom gave me my image. She chose my clothes, she dressed the (backing band) Pips - just like Beyonce’s mom is doing now, my mom did that way back.
"She knew this body better than anybody in the world."
