RHYS MEYERS SWAPS DRINKING FOR THE GYM
Irish actor JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS has found a new addiction to replace his alcohol problem - fitness.
The Match Point star has battled sobriety since entering rehab last year (06), but admits his new obsession for the gym has helped him immensely.
He tells Complex magazine, "You have to fill the void. Why not fill the void with bettering yourself? "Because you’re not going to the pub, and you’re not drinking with your mates, you’re going to the gym. It’s my way of ‘drinking’." Rhys Meyers admits not drinking is "difficult".
He adds, "I’m 30 years old and Irish and I’m shooting in Dublin."
