FIRTH RECEIVES HONORARY DEGREE
British actor COLIN FIRTH received an honorary degree at the University Of Winchester in England last Friday (19Oct07).
The Love Actually star was born in nearby Grayshott and was educated in Winchester. Both his parents have worked at the city’s university as lecturers.
Firth said, "The fact that I have had a long-standing personal association with the University of Winchester gives this award a special significance for me. I am tremendously proud of it."
