Electric elephants
Six elephants in India were killed when they fought with an electric pole after drinking too much local rice beer.
Forty Asiatic wild elephants uprooted the pole in Chandan Nukat after they got drunk from locally-brewed rice beer.
Dipu Mark, a local conservationist, said: "There would have been more casualties had the villagers not chased them away." Four elephants died in a similar way three years ago.
